Data Summary | Student feedback indicated that some students wanted more visuals and case studies incorporated into the class. Assessments of student analyses of chapter readings revealed that students are challenged in their ability to convey understanding of subject matter, which for a subset of students was related to their ESL level. Analysis of student reflections revealed that a subset of students did not adequately answer the reflection questions. |
Analysis Summary | 93% of students demonstrated proficiency on the SLOs on by passing the reflections and other homework assignments. |
Next Steps Planned | In Fall 2013, I will incorporate more video clips and case studies in class. Consider adding a guest speaker panel of program administrators. I eliminated the Professional Growth Plan assignment because because the majority of students are upgrading their permits which does not require them to have a PGP but an Ed Plan. |
