Analysis and discussion of assessment data and next steps

More DetailsWe decided to offer this course in both Fall and Spring since it is in such demand and technically can be taken by anyone who is currently certified as an EMT. It is a requirement for the Paramedic curriculum but sequencing is undetermined by evidence; therefore, we decided to offer the course open to anyone who is an EMT but give priority for Paramedic students who have not completed the course since it is required as part of the curriculum for both certificate and major.

Additional Highlights

This process is something we needed in order to get greater investment from our part time faculty who are dedicated but also work in the industry so can often see their faculty responsibilities as limited to the classroom/lab. It creates a team environment and can only benefit our students.
