Data Summary85% of the students responded correctly to questions related to pharmacy practices on first time test taking; 100% pass on follow-up test covering the same information. The majority of students successfully transitioned from the first theory class to this sequential class and maintained a high grade average.
Analysis SummaryStudents achieved the desired outcomes by passing at a grade of 80% or higher tests covering subject areas such as, drug preparations, delivery systems, compounding techniques, inventory control, and drug actions.
Next Steps PlannedContinue to monitor test results and the pass rate of students taking the CA Board of Pharmacy licensure exam. This program has maintained 100% pass rate for the past 7+ years so outcomes are met.

More DetailsUpon consultation with all faculty teaching this subject area, test results will be reviewed, students will continue to have individual advising sessions regarding status/progress in class, and any changes in scope of practice dictated by CA regulations will be incorporated into this theory class.
