  • Phone
Data SummaryFor question 1 regarding the placement test, 60% of the students answered the question correctly on the pre and post test. There is no increase in students' knowledge on this question. Similarly, or question 5 regarding and add/drop procedure, same percentage of students (70%) answered the question correctly on the pre and post test. For question 8 regarding Web4, 90% of the students answered the question correctly on the pre-test, however, with the post-test, only 76% of the students answered the question correctly.
Analysis SummaryAlthough scores vary for the individual questions on the pre and post test, overall students answered 70% or more of the questions correctly on the post test and met the criteria set for the assessment.
Next Steps PlannedAfter analyzing the assessment tool, the instructors noticed that correct answer is D for nine out of the ten questions. We are not sure if there is an effect on the results of the test. The instructors will meet and review the assessment to make necessary changes to the course and assessment tool in Spring 2014. The course is not taught in Fall 2013 and one of the instructors is on a reduced load for Fall 2013 and will return in Spring 2014.
Learning OutcomesRefer to previous answers to question 3c.
