Assessment Description	History 1 faculty created an objective question multiple choice survey that was administered at the beginning of the semester and again at the end of the semester. We hoped to measure improvement in the percentage of students answering correctly at the end of the semester.
Learning Outcomes	Previous SLOs to be retested: C. Discuss the impact of the industrialization, urbanization, unionism, and immigration of the 1890s on early twentieth-century America. D. Demonstrate an understanding of the intellectual underpinnings of American society in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. E. Evaluate the reasons for and the goals, methods, and accomplishments of the Progressive Movement. New SLO to be added: L. Discuss the reasons for the Cold War and its continued impact on American foreign policy.

Analysis Summary	Overall, there was a measurable improvement in students' ability to correctly answer objective questions covering the course content. However, there is still room for improvement.
