Assessment DescriptionThe students are asked to identify word parts, such as roots, prefixes and suffixes. They are also asked to interperet medical terms, transcibe such terms onto a Kardex and input information into selective hospital records.

Data Summary80% of the students were able to successfuly complete selective hospital form with appropriate medical terminology. All students completed a take home essay assignment based on required textbook reading. 90% of the students completed a 24 hour clinical in hospital assignment.
Analysis SummaryStudents who completed the lecture comp0nent and successfuly completed their clinical rotation achieved the stated outcomes.
Next Steps PlannedStudents continue to be eligable for entry level employment and sit for the civil service exam.
