GRPH 37 - Advanced Graphic Design - Stage 2 - Arthur Curtis
Assessment
| Assessment Methods | Assignments based on rubrics (such as essays, projects, and performances) |
|---|---|
| Assessment Description | Students were assessed based on three major graphic design projects that were graded according to defined rubrics. Each project emphasized design process and a substantial portion of the grade was based on student documentation of their design journey. |
| Learning Outcomes | 1) Research a topic that has a number of data points and design an infographic that presents that information in an easy-to-understand format. 2) Research, develop, and write a personal manifesto that communicates a philosophy of graphic design. Present the manifesto as a poster that reflects the content. 3) Identify an existing brand identity that is outdated or otherwise not meeting the organization's needs. Develop a comprehensive new visual identity that addresses these needs. |
