Assessment DescriptionThree exam questions included in midterm related to web standards and their importance. Students were asked to write statements describing the meaning of separating presentation from structure, describe how browsers respond to the absence of a doctype declaration, and give an example method for validating the HTML in a web page.

Assessment is based on review of final web project and mastery of cascading style sheets to control web page layout, typography, colors, and graphics.
