Next Steps PlannedGiving more time to work on the computer to design one of a kind fabrics was crucial and I will continue to have all students design each fabric they produce on the computer with several color variations.

DetailsAs I mentioned previously more computer time to not only input designs they found in books, but also to make up their designs based on the knowledge and structures they found in two course books I was using.

They also were exposed to new yarns that we have not worked with before. This forced them to analyze properties of a new material, and examine new ways of working with it.
