Data Sharing Methods

Data SummaryStudents had difficulty making distinctions between the different classes of objects in the Flash drawing environment. Students found audio and video integration fairy easy to accomplish.
Analysis Summary90% of the students were able to demonstrate proficiency with the executing the set of skills presented in each class.
Next Steps PlannedI plan on revising the handouts I've been using that describe the different drawing objects. I plan on using a partner-based exercise I've developed where two students work together: one draws an object without the other one looking. The second investigates the object, discusses its dominant characteristics and then identifies the object.
Learning OutcomesB) draw vector objects using variety of tools

C) animate simple objects

Tentative Future Plans

TermFall 2013
Activities

Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements)

More DetailsI plan on updating my assessment methods to include a short multiple choice quiz at the beginning of each class to test students' understanding of core Flash concepts. I will also be asking students to storyboard and analyze an original Flash presentation which will be part of their final assignment.
