| Data Sharing Methods |
|
| Data Summary | 1. 72% of students (21 out of 29 students) completed all assignments demonstrating their ability to record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions into QuickBooks 2012 accounting software. 2. 82% or 24 students received a letter grade of at least a “B” or better. 3. 82% of students recorded full attendance or 15 hours. 4. 69% of all students (20 out of 29 students) were enrolled in a CCSF Non-Credit Certificate program. |
| Analysis Summary | The majority of students should be able to enter simple sales, revenue and expense transactions into accounts payable and accounts receivable customer and accounting records using QuickBooks Pro 2012. A grade received on project assignments of 80% indicates student learning outcomes were achieved. |
| Next Steps Planned | The assessment revealed the need to: 1. Create pre and post surveys to assess student accounting/bookkeeping knowledge; 2. Create student satisfaction survey administered at the end of the course session. |
| Learning Outcomes | Refer to previous answer. |
