Data Summary | No assessment were made this Spring of 2014. Follow-up assessment will be made in the Fall of 2014. |
Planned Improvements | As indicated last semester: appears that PHYC 2BL is now the right track in regards to MLO. The material in PHYC 2BL (electricity & magnetism, optics, and modern physics) is very abstract and challenging to present in a conceptual manner. The survey will be given again for the Fall of 2014. It will be interesting to see if there will be any significant improvement or not. All of three MLO will be checked. |
Program Review Link | Yes, the above future improvements require resources that will be requested during the next annual PROGRAM REVIEW cycle. Examples: additional staff, equipment, software, consulting services, etc. |
Future Plans
Term | Fall 2014 |
---|---|
Activities | Revision of outcomes and assessment methods (measurements), Assessment (measurement) of outcomes, Analysis and discussion of assessment data and next steps |
Details | The survey of the 3 major learning outcomes was first given in the Fall of 2013. It will be given for the second time in the Fall of 2014. Comparison will be made to determine if there are substantive changes in the responses. |
