Assessment Data Discussion and Analysis

TermSpring 2014, Fall 2013
How and With WhomData was discussed with faculty and staff in the Photography Department, and in particular instructors who teach the preceding and succeeding courses in sequence.
Number Assessed30
Data SummaryWhile the bulk of the SLOs for this course have assessed at Above Average or Excellent, SLO topics I, J, K, L have low achievement or none at all given that the experience of the class, changes in program curricula, and time constraints strongly indicate that these topics move from PHOT 81A to PHOT 81B, 82, 93, and/or 102B.
Planned ImprovementsDuring Fall 2014 academic year, the course outline for PHOT 81A should be rewritten to eliminate SLO items I, j, K, and L. In the process, this will allow for the remaining SLO topics to be strengthened.
