DetailsAfter the initial trial of leveling courses, it has been determined that new and some modified activities would take place within this performance oriented course. More connection to the course content has become apparent, and thus new course outlines have been submitted.

Assessment Methods

MethodsThrough observation and student interviews it has been determined that a clearer connection between the course content, expectations and outcomes needed more clarity. This has been accomplished through new course outlines which touch on the essentials of a progression between levels.

Data SummaryThis course's measurements are created by success points, where we had 90% rate of success on the outcomes needed for measurements of 3 of 5 points or higher. The success is observable through the performance oriented activities.
Planned ImprovementsSince the course's levels will be implemented over a two year period, reassessments will be continual in relationship to the efficacy of the outcomes and their relationship to the assignments and content. New levels have been created which match better with the advancing levels.
