MethodsFaculty met twice during the semester. We met during the first and last two weeks of the Fall 13 semester. These meetings focused on SLO assessment, planning, and future plans. We are focusing on SLO: Construct test taking strategies for objective and subjective exams, and prepare practive exam questions. Our 13/14 SLO will included 3 faculty, 24 sections (12 each semester) and approximately 400 students each semester. We conducted pre and post surveys as well as an analysis of assignments and direct observations.

DetailsFaculty will meet twice during the semester. We will meet during the first and last two weeks of the Spring 14 semester. These meetings will focus on planning, data analysis and future plans. We will conduct data analysis on our pre and post surveys. In addition we will evaluate the outcomes for course assignments and direct observations. Spring 14: As needed, instructors will adjusted in-class activities and homework, develop more effective evaluation tools ie grading rubrics, and modify teaching practices that increased test taking effectiveness in their courses. At the end of Spring 14, we will compare Fall 13 and Spring 14 cohorts.
