Assessment Methods
Methods | We decided to assess MLO#1: Appraise purpose, goals and techniques of tutoring in an active learning environment. New tutors tend to tutor by giving the correct answer rather than assisting their students in finding the answer themselves. This is the purpose of tutoring. A pre and post survey was given to student tutors to assess their confidence and abilities in this area of active learning. |
