Assessment Methods

The class also participates in the assessment process. Each student project is different and expands the learning opportunities of the group. |

Assessment Data Discussion and Analysis
Term | Fall 2013 |
---|---|
How and With Whom | I discussed the data with faculty members in this program and those from another college. I also asked for student input on ways to improve the learning experience. |
Number Assessed | 16 |
Data Summary | 80% of the students met the outcomes measured. Based on these results, we are doing fine in all areas. |
Planned Improvements | I will plan on having one or two dress forms in the classroom and I will use them in my introductory lecture/demo. |
Program Review Link | Yes, the above future improvements require resources that will be requested during the next annual PROGRAM REVIEW cycle. Examples: additional staff, equipment, software, consulting services, etc. |
Future Plans
Term | The next time the class is offered. |

Activities | Implementation of planned changes and reassessment |
Details | The implementation of dress forms for ease of handling and accuracy in the "rubbing-off" process. |
Highlights | I believe that it is important to have a variety of visual aids, in-depth question and answer sessions, and student input at the conclusion of the class. |
