DetailsBased on the material covered and student success and/or failure in Spring 2014, syllabus and class material covered can be enhanced or modified.
HighlightsThe textbook we are using "Write for Work: Building Language Skills for the 21st Century" has been very useful for in-class work. In addition to covering writing basics for business letters, job-related letters are also included in the book. Students are eager to continue at that point and most of them register for Job Preparation (BOSS 3500), after completing the Business Communications course, so they can learn more about writing employment documents.
